FAQs
How is the EIPA Written Test administered?
The EIPA Written Test is administered online by EIPA-approved proctors at approved sites.
Are there any prerequisites or requirements to take the EIPA Written Test?
There are no prerequisites to register for the EIPA Written Test. We do not require interpreters take the written test before the performance test, or the other way around. There is no required sequence, nor does an interpreter have to take both tests. A degree is not needed to take the test. EIPA is an assessment agency, not a certifying or licensure agency, which is why there are no prerequisites.
How much does the EIPA Written Test cost?
The EIPA Written Test fee is $260.00. The test fee is required at the time of registration. Some proctors charge a proctor fee. Contact the proctor prior to registering to inquire about possible proctor fees.
NOTE: EIPA test administrators have been preapproved by the EIPA Diagnostic Center but are not employed by, nor do they receive compensation for their services from, EIPA or Boys Town National Research Hospital.
